Meet The Founders

My journey into homecare advocacy began with my grandfather.

He was placed in a low-income seniors’ home where I saw neglect, loneliness, and the fading of dignity. We stepped in as a family to provide what we could but the guilt of not being able to do more still lingers. No one should experience that kind of helplessness.

That experience lit a fire in me. For years, I’ve wanted to create a space where care is a right, not a privilege. A place where seniors, families, and individuals with disabilities don’t face impossible decisions just to get the help they need. That dream is Compassion for Everyone. With this organization, we’re creating a path for dignity, relief, and real, loving care—available to all. No one should face life’s toughest moments alone, and no one should be denied support because of money. This mission is personal. And it’s powerful.

For the past decade, I’ve worked in private homecare and witnessed the heartbreaking reality that many people simply can’t afford the care they need. I’ve heard it more times than I can count: “Your services sound amazing, but we just can’t afford it.” That hits home for me—literally.

I grew up in a low-income household, and I often think about how compassionate support could have helped my family during tough times. That’s why Compassion for Everyone matters so much to me. It’s a place where people aren’t turned away. It’s a way to say: “You matter. You deserve help.” Everyone should have access to homecare that brings comfort and dignity, not just those who can afford it. With CFE, I’m proud to be part of building a bridge—one that connects people in need with real support, hope, and relief. This work is deeply personal, and I believe we can make lasting change—together.

After eight years in private homecare, I’ve seen the cracks in the system—families in crisis, overwhelmed and under-supported, saying the same painful words: “We need this, but we can’t afford it.” I’ve watched loved ones placed in care homes out of necessity, not choice. I’ve raised three kids with special needs and spent over a decade in childcare. I know burnout. I know the feeling of being desperate for help and having nowhere to turn. I also know the power of support—how life-changing it can be when someone shows up.

That’s why Compassion for Everyone means everything to me. It’s the answer to a question I’ve heard far too often: “Isn’t there something out there for families like ours?” Now, there is. CFE is built on love, lived experience, and a commitment to make sure no one slips through the cracks. Everyone deserves support, especially when life gets hard. And with CFE, we’re making sure they get it.
