Born from a Dream
Compassion for Everyone was founded by the same dedicated team behind Homecare Solutions for Everyone (HSE)—a team that has spent years providing loving, compassionate home care to individuals across Winnipeg. Through our work, we have seen first-hand the heartbreaking reality that many families face: they need care but simply can’t afford it. The rising cost of home care means many seniors, individuals with disabilities, and families in crisis are left without the essential support they need to live safely and with dignity.
Why We Started This Foundation
In Manitoba, there is no comprehensive plan to expand home care funding despite our aging population. With a large percentage of Manitobans now seniors, the demand for home care is only growing—yet so many are left without options. We believe no one should be forced to go without care simply because of financial limitations.
That’s why we created Compassion for Everyone—to provide fair and equal access to home care for those who need it most. Our foundation helps bridge the gap for individuals and families struggling to afford in-home support, whether it’s assistance with daily living, respite care for family caregivers, or specialized care for complex medical needs.
