We’re a not-for-profit organization based in Winnipeg, created to help individuals and families who are struggling to afford the in-home care they urgently need. Whether you’re a family caregiver feeling overwhelmed, a senior facing mobility challenges, or a parent trying to support a child with health needs, we want you to know:

Who We Are and What We Do
We believe that no one should ever be denied compassionate, professional care because of financial barriers.
Too many families in Winnipeg are struggling to afford essential in-home care. At CFE, we help bridge that financial gap, ensuring that no one is left without the support they need and deserve.
Our support includes:
- Financial assistance to help cover the cost of qualified in-home care
- Guidance and encouragement for family caregivers during difficult times
- Access to information and resources to make care more manageable
Through generous gifts, fundraising campaigns, and community support, we’re able to help individuals remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.
Why We Exist
Every week, we hear from families facing impossible choices:
- Should I skip work today or leave my loved one alone?
- How will we afford another week of care?
- Is there anyone out there who understands what we’re going through?

We created Compassion for Everyone to ensure no one in our community feels invisible or unsupported.
Our mission is simple: show up with empathy, kindness, and financial support when people need it most.
How We’ve Helped So Far in 2025
Thanks to our growing community of supporters, Compassion for Everyone has already provided:
- 492 hours of direct financial support
- Dozens of families with relief from the financial pressure of caregiving
- The ability for more people to remain safely at home with the care they deserve
And we’re just getting started.

Upcoming Support Application Window: October Intake
If you or someone you know is struggling to afford in-home care, our next intake period will open this October. During this time, applications will be accepted from families needing financial help for professional in-home support.
